Solid bronze statuette reproducing the Venus of Hohle Fels on a smaller scale. (Part of the interior is hollow to achieve a better result during casting, but the statuette remains solid and heavy.)
The original is made of mammoth ivory and is believed to date back to approximately 40,000 BC.
The bronze statuette measures 7.2 cm in total height, with the Venus figure itself measuring 6 cm.
One of a kind statuette, made from beeswax, which was then moulded in plaster to allow the bronze to be cast using the lost wax method.
