Hello to you who’ve just arrived on my website!
Since I didn’t write a newsletter in May, I’ll share here the latest updates that were added to the site, as well as what’s currently in progress and set to appear in June or a bit later.
In the section on Norse mythology and worlds, we have:
The Völva’s Staff
A unique piece I created in silver, inspired by the völvas — individuals skilled in divination and knowledge during the time of ancient Scandinavian civilizations. Several staffs of different lengths have been found, carried by these women of the past who were believed to possess mediumistic powers.
Here, I’ve crafted a miniature version in my own style, designed to be worn and, perhaps, to offer its wearer a connection to another realm...

Idunn
My ultimate goal in the not-so-distant future is to offer complete “packs” for each deity or figure, including a pendant, an illustration, and a short explanatory summary.
I’ve started this concept with Idunn, the guardian of the gods’ apples — the ones that grant them eternal youth and vitality. So here’s an illustration and a 3D pendant to go with it. (I had already made a flatter version of the Idunn pendant.)
I’m planning to offer mini prints on the site too, and that’s currently in the works. I already have the printer, which is a great start, so... coming very soon :D

In the realm of Celtic myths and legends:
The Bronze Statue of the Dagda
There aren’t many visual depictions of Celtic supernatural beings, but we do have numerous legends and myths passed down over the centuries that describe them in various ways.
I’m not sure if my interpretation is completely accurate, but I did my best to portray an omniscient Dagda, with a calm and imposing presence. (I’ll write more about the Dagda in the future on my blog.)
You can ask me if you'd like it customized as a pendant. :’)
Coming in June: Lug / Lugus / Lugh
Here’s a little sneak peek photo of my beeswax work-in-progress.
That’s all for this month — I’ll see you again in June for more upcoming creations!
I’m Konomi, and I’m your guide here on this site dedicated to the creatures, gods, and goddesses from the mythologies, tales, and folklore of Europe — always with a joyful and light-hearted atmosphere.
